Are you a senior accounting team leader looking for something a little different? This global music recording organisation is seeking an experienced royalties manager OR an experienced and qualified accountant to take over the role of royalties manger in the near future.
The client is very flexible about candidate background. Proven high level management experience from the music, or publishing and pharmaceutical industries will be considered. As will, qualified CA/CPA accountants with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience because the role as it is very accounting focused. If applicants are from an accounting background, they will need to prove that they are a hands on manager with strong people leadership skills and the passion, drive and ability to learn something very different to what they will have done previously.
This is a demanding role with strict deadlines and complex contracts to deal with so we need candidates that are task driven with a strong eye for detail. There is scope to make business process and systems improvements so someone that enjoys doing this will flourish in the role. Advanced Excel skills are essential for this role as although a bespoke royalties system is used, most of the work is done using complex Excel spreadsheets.
